Every cashew kernel we supply passes through a rigorous multi-stage quality control process at our certified processing partners facility.

RAW CASHEW RECEIPT & INCOMING INSPECTION
Each incoming raw cashew lot is inspected on arrival. Moisture content is measured using calibrated Kett moisture testers to ensure it meets processing parameters before acceptance.

STEAM TREATMENT AND SHELLING
Raw cashews are steamed to loosen the shell, then shelled by machine. The steam process also begins microbial reduction, contributing to food safety compliance.

PEELING & DRYING
Kernels are peeled to remove the testa (inner skin), then dried to achieve the target moisture level of ≤5% most essential for shelf stability and mould prevention.

COLOUR SORTING (AUTOMATED)
Automated optical colour-sorting machines remove discoloured, damaged, or off-grade kernels at high speed. This ensures colour uniformity across each grade lot.

X-RAY & METAL DETECTION
Every lot passes through X-ray inspection and metal detector machines to identify and eliminate any foreign bodies, the most critical food safety control point under HACCP protocols.

MANUAL GRADING & FINAL QC
Trained sorters perform a final manual pass to identify and remove any remaining substandard kernels. Each grade is held to strict defect tolerance limits before packing.

PACKING & LOT DOCUMENTATION
Approved product is packed in 20kg vacuum sealed bags and assigned a lot number. Full lot documentation including moisture results, grade records, and certificate references are retained for every shipment.

British Retail Consortium Global Standard for Food Safety, certified by SGS — one of the world's leading inspection and certification bodies. BRC is the benchmark standard required by most major UK and European retail buyers.
US FDA CERTIFICATION
Registered with the US Food and Drug Administration pursuant to the Bioterrorism Act of 2002 and the Food Safety Modernization Act. FDA Reg. No. 12572404162. This registration is required for all facilities exporting food products to the United States.
GACC: CHINA GENERAL ADMINISTRATION OF CUSTOMS
Certified for export compliance to the People's Republic of China by the General Administration of Customs. GACC certification is required for all food producers exporting to China and confirms compliance with Chinese food safety import regulations.
